For those who are constantly in the hunt for a great coral, this post is for you. Nevermind the incredible tricolor sticks that we can find on a shipment or two. Keep your eyes on Symphyllias as they come in. There are many species in this genus, but the most spectacular of them is the wilsoni. Like this eye popping specimen:
These guys are super easy to take care of. Just medium light and medium flow is all it takes. And if you want to feed it, drop some mysis shrimp into their mouths. Just make sure your angels do not mistake your wilsoni for food
Happy reefing!

I probably collected your coral, they look great under water, the red ones seem to glow red even in deeper water, where there is not suposed to be any red light, I have shipped a couple of ultra fluro green ones, that looked like kriptonite from the superman movies. We had a friend who saw one in our coral system, he went straight home and bought his wife back to have a look.(and he is not an aquarium keeper) The thing looked like it had a 100watt globe inside it!. Great corals.
