Many of us are very familiar with the Bubble corals. They have multiple bubbles that come out from the main head, and retract into the skeleton. They usually come in green, pearl, and amazingly in red colors.
But, many have not seen its cousin, the Branching Bubble coral ala Plerogyra simplex. Here are a few pictures:

It has the same requirements as the regular Plergyra, so any intermediate reefer could go for one. The only trick is, it doesn’t come in as often as you would like. So you may resort to overpaying for a nice sized colony, or just wait for the last guy who had bought one at the back of the store and use an old Coralife skimmer against his head. Both would work well.
If you have seen one, or have one in your tank, please post a link in the comments section. We always enjoy seeing nice corals!

don’t see the “red” one
won’t believe you until I see it…. highly possible that it is dyed.
Saw a nice branching one at a LFS years ago but nothing since.
Dyed its not, I have to dig it up, but its been found.
Hey, here’s a picture of the purple branching bubble I have… It’s getting large and I’d love to frag it.

Looks great Andrew. How fast has it grown for you?
