When the geek in me comes out, he wants to hit the net wire to see what reefyness is out there. He wants to see if reefers around the world are just as crazy and maniacal about this hobby as us North Americans. Well this geek has found a site that is as active and flavorful as the big sites in the NA. Welcome the Marine Aquariums of South Africa.
It is always pleasing to see reefers around the world tackle similar reefing issues in a different fashion. How clean do they set their tanks up? What equipment do they use? How is their livestock? And on, and on, and on…
So head over there, tell them that we have sent you! Bring the reefy goodness from North America to them. Lets exchange new ideas, practices, and overall knowledge with those in South Africa.
If you have a forum that you want us to drop in on, send us an email at info@fragd.it

Great to see this forum featured here – the team behind the site are really great guys (I should know, they were the team behind me when I ran, http://www.sareefkeeping.com)
The South African hobbyists face greater challenges than their US and European friends – equipment is expensive with almost all of it being imported and livestock can be tough to come by – the good stuff that gets taken for granted.
Now being based in the UK, I can speak from experience in how tough it was to obtain that elusive ‘pink lemonade’ coral… but the hobbyists here in the UK still complain although they have it easier than the SA crew.
Be sure to swing by the forum, they are a great bunch of guys, very friendly and while you’re there, drop in on the 1st dedicated marine aquarium forum for South African’s – http://sareefkeeping.com
We love to recognize great forums for knowledge exchange. When I do talk to those who are in SA, I do realize that corals are hard to come by. Even if it is a shorter flight away.
Hi everyone just wanted to introduce myself, looks like a great forum.
