I generally avoid going to Big Al’s, but their Boxing Day specials on salt can’t be beat. I stock up and I’m good to go for the year. I usually avoid their livestock, especially the Big Al’s location nearest my house. This day, however I decided to take a look and I was amused to see this:
Do you think that red line is magic? Maybe somehow it prevents the flow of water from the right to left side. Maybe it helps ‘cure‘ the rock. Maybe anything to the left of the line speeds up the Nitrogen Cycle.
Even with 20% off, I somehow avoided buying any live rock that day.

HAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA That’s very innovative way to put it.
lololol. nice one. lol
Nothing ceases to amaze me in this hobby! LOL.
Thats funny, lol.
Most of the time their labels say cured live rock, but to have them both together like that, classic.
That is awesome! I’m totally going to try it…I never knew it was simply that easy.
now that I re-read this thread, I think I can start to put a red line and put “Quarantined fish / Un-quarantine fish” too
