Although my tank’s in shambles, I’m getting ready for the day I’m ready to start adding coral.  I’m going to stock it mostly with frags this time around.  It’s got me thinking what frags I’m going to add.  Definitely no more boring browns.  I’m going to stock it with only the best.  The blues, the oranges, the bright reds.  I want a rainbow of coral in my tank.

When I got into the hobby, zoanthids were the coral that got me excited.  They looked like little pieces of candy.

Tiny, deadly pieces of candy.

So, I got thinking about what my ultimate zoanthid morph would be and I’ve spent a lot of time on Zoaid CoralPedia.  Other than the Hasslepalys of course.

Orange Envies and Purple People Eaters are some of the sexier morphs out there, but they don’t do it for me.  Don’t get me wrong, I’d gladly take a polyp or two of each (now accepting donations), but I wouldn’t give my third born son for them.

One of my favourites, and one that I lost about a year ago, is the Raspberry Limeaide.  I’ve been searching the GTA for another frag of it, but so far no luck.  I bought 4 polyps for $40 and in 6 months it grew to a small 30 polyp colony.

My ultimate zoanthid, and one that I’ve never seen, let alone had the opportunity to acquire, is the appropriatly named Shiznit.

Winrar.

So, what’s your ultimate frag?  I’m gonna tag Vlad and the guys over at Marine Depot.  Post your ultimate frags on your blogs and tap two more!  This could get interesting.
