Being one of the fortunate 200 who have answered their emails and purchased this awesome product (RKE), I eagerly awaited its delivery.  Being in Canada, not many purchased this product because of the usual brokerage fees and customs charges, but I didn’t care as it would be cheaper than buying a Profilux unit here.

Upon inspection, the package include a whack of goodies. Two power strips (which are controlled by the head unit), one auxiliary control unit (Orp, pH, Temp, and 2 other), head control unit, a bunch of cables, install CD, and a pH probe. The head unit looks sleek and modern. It has a perfect size for mounting inside the wall (which you will see later in my fishroom build). The buttons are like the ones you see on a Motorola Razr cell phone, again futuristic. After reading the manual (which at this time you can only view online), you notice right away that this control unit has limitless sequenced functions that you can adjust and setup. In fact, they have a program applicationthat you can use to program and sequence all of your needs. Now my water-changes are going to be much easier… think of it like this:

1. Power off return pump

2. Sump pump on until water level touches lower sensor, then sump pump off

3. Salt Reservoir pump on until higher float level sensor touches water, then reservoir pump off.

Done water-change!

Imagine that…..
