While I am working hard at getting those moving pictures uploaded, I thought I should give you an idea what I am going to plan for the fishroom. For those who have come over and brainstormed with me, please disregard this post as you already know what my intentions are.

After some discussion, thanks Mike C., I have decided to build a bigger display tank. I want to keep the current dimensions, but go a lot higher. I was thinking around 24″-30″ high.. which would put the tank around 315 gallons. I want to keep a bit more fish, so this will allow me to do so. Plus, I will be able to design some serious ‘scapes for breathtaking eyecandy.

My ‘old’ 180 will serve as a prop/frag/holding tank, wich will be plumbed into the same system. It has a lot of room for a lot of coral, so this will be an ideal setup. My RKE (Reef Keeper Elite) as come in, but won’t be setup until all things are in place (ie everything else but the controller). I also have to build a sump which will serve to tanks. I will definitely need a sump in the 150-200 gallon range. I will plan on building it both myself.

As for livestock, I want to add more Heniochus Butterfly for that ‘Wow’ effect. Ideally, I would like 5 to school, but we have to see what the tank could accommodate.
